Bayani Fernando (born July 25, 1946) is the former Chairman of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA). He has announced his intention to run for President of the Philippines in the 2010 election. However, after talks with Richard Gordon, he agreed to slide as Vice President for Gordon's newly-established party, Bagumbayan, their tandem dubbed as the Transformers.
